What Happens During an Astrology Reading?

Prior to our appointment, I will need your date, time and place of birth to draw up your Natal Chart. (N.B. if your exact time of birth isn’t known, it is possible for me to dowse it.)

I will consider your Natal Chart along with what is happening in the sky right now – the movements of the planets which are called “transits” – against the backdrop of your own chart pattern and look for any planetary cycles you are experiencing and how you are responding to them from your own unique awareness.

I will give you information on the three most important points of your Natal Chart – the Sun, Moon & Ascendant which is also known as your “Rising Sign”.

Recently I have expanded my Readings to look at where the Asteroids Ceres, Pallas Athene, Vesta & Juno fall in your Natal Chart as they can offer further insights to the connection between the Masculine and Feminine rhythms which exist in all of us. This can help to increase awareness of our own emotional responses to life and how we consciously choose to express ourselves and the decisions we make.

It is also possible for me to look at your “Progressed Chart” – where the planets have changed since the day you were born to the age you are now. This can be considered for any underlying energies that may be stirring you inwardly through your feelings. An important part of this process is to look at your Progressed Moon Phase compared to the Moon Phase that you were born under as this can help to build upon where you have come from, offering insights into developing the themes of your life’s direction.

I can also offer “Synastry charts” which compare a couple’s Birth Charts indicating what drew them together, how their individual personalities affect each other and what they are growing and learning at a soul level through the union.
